Telling Time To The Quarter Hour Telling Time (Elapsed Time) Student works in different activities that involve time clocks. Telling Time

Hour & minute hand id.	Level 1 Student can identify the hour and minute hand on a time clock with minimal accuracy; still needs assistance.	Level 2 Student can accurately identify the hour and minute hand one at the time clock sometimes.	level 3 Student can accurately identify the hour and minute hand one at a time on the clock most of the time.	Level 4 Student can accurately identify the hour and minute hand all of the time.
ID hour	Level 1 Student states the correct hour of time as it nears the new hour some of the time, but unable to do so every time.	Level 2 Student states the hour of time as it nears the new hour most of the time.	level 3 Student states the hour of time as it nears the new hour when past the 30min mark and most of the time before the 30min mark	Level 4 Student always states the hour of time which is coming up, any time.
Telling Time	Level 1 Student can somewhat tell time to the quarter hour but not every time they are asked.	Level 2 Student can accurately tell time to the quarter hour most of the time that they are asked.	level 3 Student can accurately tell the time to the quarter hour most of the time.	Level 4 Student can accurately tell the time to the quarter hour and to the minute all the time.
Elapsed Time	Level 1 Student can explain elapsed time (ie, 'the time that has passed') but is not able to determine how much time has passed.	Level 2 Student can tell elapsed time to the hour and the half hour.	level 3 Student can tell elapsed time to the quarter hour.	Level 4 Student can tell the elapsed time to the minute.
Relationship of days, weeks, months	Level 1 Student can identify the days of the week and the months of the year, using a calendar with little accuracy.	Level 2 Student can identify how many minutes in an hour; hours in a day; days of the week and the months of the year using a calendar with some accuracy.	level 3 Student can identify how many minutes in an hour; hours in a day; days of the week and the months of the year using a calendar with considerable accuracy.	Level 4 Student can identify how many minutes in an hour; hours in a day; days of the week and the months of the year using a calendar with a high degree of accuracy.
