Write a friendly letter. Act as the main character from the book "Sign of The Beaver", Matt and write a letter to your family describing your experience in the Indian Village. Remember to correctly use and punctuate all the parts of the friendly letter.

Using previous knowledge and information from the article to answer questions about the current text.

Student works in different activities that involve time clocks. Desired skills include: Placing the numbers on the clock Telling time to the whole / half / quarter hour Determining elapsed time to the whole / half / quarter hour Determining the relationship among days/ weeks/ months/ years

Students will be selecting an animal and research the unique characteristics about this animal. Students will be writing about their animal, and present the information to the class. The presentation should tell about where their animal lives, what their animal eats, what their animal looks like, and other interesting facts about the animal they choose. Students should be prepared to answer questions about their animal from their peers.

French Immersion Non Fiction Writing. Students research an animal of their choice and describe the characteristics, habitat, predators and prey.
