Multimedia Classroom Expectations 
The following rubric is so students and parents will know what is expected of students regarding effort in completing a multimedia class assignments: participation, cooperation, thoroughness in doing assignments, individual/group work, critical/creative thinking, etcetera.

Excellent

Student completed the job task he/she was assigned in a positive way and did not take on duties of another student. Student showed initiative!!!
Good

Student had to be asked to complete his/her job assignment by group members or the teacher. Student showed some initiative but with teacher prompting. Positive attitude is minimal.
Needs improvement

Student did not complete his/her job task even with prompting from the teacher. Student lacked initiative. Bad attitude!
Cooperation

Excellent

Student follows directions and rules entire class time. Follows and encourages other students leadership as well as directs others in learning.
Good

Student follows directions and rules 50% of class time. Occasionally jokes with others. Is reluctant to follow other students leadership and lead others in learning.
Needs improvement

Student does not follow directions and rules. Student argues with classmates or instructor. Does not follow other students leadership and does not lead other students in learning.
Individual Assignments

Excellent

All assignments completed with no errors. Showed worked on assignment. Put forth a lot of effort. Multimedia storyboard was completed accurately with transition suggestions and detail.
Good

Partial assignments completed. Put forth some effort and tried to work on some of the assignment. The storyboard was lacking detail.
Needs improvement

No assignment turned in or showed no effort, did not work any of the assignments. Was trying to get other homework completed.
Group Evaluation

Excellent

Student participated with his/her group and offered many constructive ideas to improve the presentation. Suggestions were given to improve. If this was not part of the day's work, an automatic high score is given.
Good

Student participated with his/her group showing minimal interaction and feedback that was lacking appropriateness.
Needs improvement

Student was unable to enhance his/her group's project due to being off task or unwilling to work with the group.
Critical/Creative Thinking

Excellent

Student showed creativity in editing clips and designing a multimedia presentation. If this was not part of the day's work, an automatic high score is given.
Good

Student showed some creativity in editing clips and designing a multimedia presentation.
Needs improvement

Student showed no creativity in editing clips and designing a multimedia presentation.
