Sets/Characters/Props 20 pts	Excellent Sets/characters/props are very well used and visually interesting. A lot of time was put into their construction.	Good Sets/characters/props are well used and visually interesting.	Fair Sets/characters/props are well used and somewhat visually interesting.	Poor Sets/characters/props are not well used or visually interesting.
Animation 20 pts	Excellent The animation is very smooth and the characters/objects have fairly natural movements. All frames are in focus.	Good The animation is smooth and there is very little distracting camera movement. Most frames are in focus.	Fair The animation is choppy. Camera movement is a little distracting.	Poor The animation is very choppy. Camera is unsteady and distracting.
Scenes and Shots 20 pts	Excellent Animation includes at least 8 different scenes and 5 different camera shots. These scene changes and different camera shots flow nicely and add interest to the film.	Good Animation includes at least 8 different scenes and 5 different camera shots.	Fair Animation did not include at least 8 different scenes and 5 different camera shots.	Poor Animation did not include at least 8 different scenes and 5 different camera shots. The flow of scenes and shots were distracting and took away from the story.
Sound 20 pts	Excellent Sound effects, dialogue, and music make the animation more interesting. Music and sound effects "fit" perfectly with the animation.	Good Sound effects and music add to the movie experience.	Fair There was probably a better choice for sound effects, dialogue, and music.	Poor Music, dialogue and sound effects were distracting or missing.
Titles/Credits and Animation Length 20 pts	Excellent Titles/credits are creative and make the animation more interesting. The name for the animation is creative and "fits" perfectly with the animation. The credits completely inform us about the author. The animation length is at least 40 seconds in total, 30 being stop motion	Good Titles/credits completely inform about the author. The Animation met time requirements.	Fair Titles/credits are not creative but still inform about the author. The animation length is a bit short.	Poor Titles/credits were too long and distracting, and don't inform us about the author. This animation did not have enough animation length to be it complete.
