Social Studies Field Guide Pages Science Portfolio This is an assessment of a science portfolio that students will have created over the entire semester. Each individual assignment will have already been marked so this is an assessment of the portfolio as a whole. Both the teacher and the student will mark the portfolio according to this rubric. Science Journal
	One Star D 1 pts	Two Stars C 2 pts	Three Stars B 3 pts	Four Stars A 4 pts
Portfolio Content	One Star 75% or more of journal pages are missing	Two Stars At least 50% of journals are missing	Three Stars 25% or less of journal pages are missing	Four Stars Journal has all pages!
Handwriting	One Star Handwriting is sloppy and would be hard for a stranger to read. (Letters not fully formed, not on a straight line)	Two Stars Handwriting is a little sloppy and difficult to read. (Difficult to distinguish letters, not on straight lines)	Three Stars Overall handwriting is neat and easy to read. (Letters fully formed, straight lines for easy readability).	Four Stars Handwriting is excellent. Anyone can easily read what I have written.
Construction	One Star Pages are sloppy, (crumbled, stained) no use of color, variety, pictures, etc.	Two Stars Pages are somewhat neat, but have a few rough edges or tears. Partial use of color, variety, pictures, etc.	Three Stars Pages are neat. Use of color, variety, pictures, etc.	Four Stars Pages are pristine! A lot of use of color, variety, pictures, etc.
