sampling project, MPAE II Module 2 Project 2, MPAE II Students will choose a sample from any source, and will use material from that sample to create a 1:30-2:00 minute song. Students may add one track of additional audio; all other material for the song will come from the sample. Duration	Exceeds The track is within 1:30 and 2:00 long.	Meets The track is shorter than 1:30 or longer than 2:00.	Developing The track is shorter than 1:20 or longer than 2:10.	Unsatisfactory The track is shorter than 1:00 or longer than 2:30.
Syncing	Exceeds All tracks are synced well with each other and transitions are smooth between all sections of the piece.	Meets All tracks are synced well with each other and transitions are smooth between some sections of the piece.	Developing The general flow of the music is fine, but there are times when most of the tracks are not together.	Unsatisfactory The music is not synced.
Musicality/Form	Exceeds The piece has a clearly delineated form with transitions between sections. Each section is well developed.	Meets The piece has a clear form with some transitions between sections.	Developing The piece has a form, though it does not seem to be well-thought out. There are few or no transitions between sections.	Unsatisfactory There is no clear form to the piece and the sections are unbalanced.
Sample	Exceeds The student handed in the original sample as well as the completed project.	Meets	Developing	Unsatisfactory The student did not hand in the original sample with the project.
Bouncing	Exceeds The entire session was bounced to a stereo audio file and was shared in the Google drive folder.	Meets The entire session was bounced to a mono audio file and was shared in the Google drive folder.	Developing The entire session was not bounced correctly but was still shared in the Google drive folder.	Unsatisfactory The entire session was not bounced correctly and was not shared in the Google drive folder.
