Steady Beat/Rhythm 25 pts	A A steady beat is maintained throughout piece.<BR> Every member played rhythms that matched the beat. Students used 8 counts to help create rhythm.	B A steady beat is maintained throughout the piece.<BR> All members stayed with the beat most of the time. Students used mostly 8 counts in rhythm, one to two minor mess ups.	C A steady beat is maintained through some of the piece.<BR> Most members stayed with the beat occasionally. Students used some 8 counts, one major mess up.	D and Below The steady beat was present occasionally.<BR> Most members playing to individual beats - not together. Students did not use 8 counts to help create rhythm, more than one major mess up.
Creativity 25 pts	A Students used a variety of props in piece of choreography that made it interesting and creative.	B Students used one or two props to create a interesting piece of choreography.	C Students hardly used one prop to create piece of choreography.	D and Below Students did not use any props for choreography.
Movement 25 pts	A Well thought and executed, interesting movements with excellent sounds.	B Well thought, interesting movements with good sounds.	C Some thought, little execution.	D and Below Thrown together, messy movements.
Participation/Effort 25 pts	A Members make excellent use of class time and help equally<BR> Everyone has an active role in performance.<BR>	B Members make good use of class time.<BR> All members help almost equally.<BR> Everyone has an active role in performance - all try hard and encourage.	C Members make fair use of class time.<BR> Most members help almost equally.	D and Below Members make poor use of class time.<BR> Some members lacked group involvement.<BR> Members/Group do not participate appropriately or piece is incomplete.
