Excellent - Content is comprehensive, accurate, and persuasive.- Major points are stated clearly and are well supported.- Research is adequate, timely and addresses course concepts.- Content and purpose of the writing are clear.
Organization & Structure 30 pts	Poor/Good - Organization and structure detract from the message of the writer.- Writing is disjointed and lacks transition of thoughts.	Good/Very Good - Structure of the writing is not easy to follow. - Paragraph transitions need improvement.	Excellent - Structure of the writing is clear, easy to follow and is at university level.
Format/Map(s) 10 pts	Poor/Good - Paper lacks many elements of correct formattting.- Paragrpah is inadequate/excessive in length.- Map is of poor quality/sloppy.	Good/Very Good - Paper follows most guidelines.- Responses are of appropriate length based on questions.- Map is of good quality. Good/Very Good - Paper contains few grammatical, punctuation and spelling errors.- Language lacks clarity or includes the use of some jargon or conversational tone.	Excellent - Rules of grammar, usage, and punctuation are followed; spelling is correct.- Language is clear and precise; sentences display consistently strong, varied structure.
