Presentation
Level 4
Students demonstrate strong enthusiasm about topic during entire presentation. All audience members can hear at all times and presenter speaks loud and clear. Posture is poised and it is evident the student is knowledgeable in the subject area.
Level 3
Students demonstrate enthusiastic feelings about topic. Audience members can hear most of the time and students speaks clearly. Students show evidence they are familiar with their topic.
Level 2
Students demonstrate little or mixed feelings about the topic being presented. It is difficult to hear student at times and they did not speak very often to demonstrate their true knowledge of the topic.
Level 1
Students demonstrate no interest in topic presented. They show little to no effort during the presentation and it is not evident they knew their subject area.
Visual Aid
Level 4
Students use appropriate visual aids including images and charts to enhance the presentation. They have gone above and beyond the required elements of a presentation and have relevant added material and/or visual aids.
Level 3
Students use appropriate visual aids with a few images and/or charts to enhance the presentation. The presentation is displayed in an organized manner and appeals to the audience.
Level 2
Few visual aids are used. The presentation is poorly organized and includes minimal information.
Level 1
Students do not use any visual aids and/or visual aids are not relevant.
Editing of Report
Level 4
The report contains no errors in grammar, capitalization, punctuation and spelling.
Level 3
The report contains a few errors in grammar, capitalization, punctuation and spelling.
Level 2
Spelling, punctuation and grammatical errors distract from the report.
Level 1
Errors in spelling, capitalization, and grammar repeatedly distract from the final product and major editing is required.
Use of Class Time
Level 4
Uses class time effectively. Group collaborates and shares the workload.
Level 3
Usually uses class time effectively. Group collaborates effectively.
