Student identifies main characters and appropriately describes the role they play in the story with good use of vocabulary and support from the story to back up their reasoning.

Students presentation shows poorly exercised knowledge of the story and the elements discussed. Student lacks in efforts to speak clearly and sensibly. Student needs persistent assistance from the teacher in order to complete the presentation and stay on task.

Students uses perfect spelling consistently throughout the assignments. Student makes sure to ask questions about spelling assure they produce accuracy.

Student only has a few minor spelling errors throughout the assignments.
