Students will be graded on participation and effort throughout the school year in a variety of activities including (but not limited to): Fitness, Frisbee, sports, card games, board games, etc.

After a demonstration the participant puts forth average effort to perform the skill. Does not show initiative to improve skill components as taught throughout game
Excellent

After a demonstration the participant continually tries to improve his or herself by using proper skill components through participation
Rule Comprehension

Failing

After an introduction to the rules, the participants does not play by those rules a majority of the activity and/or is off-task
Needs Improvement

After an introduction to the rules, the participants participates for part of the activity but may not continually follow rules throughout the entire session
Satisfactory

After an introduction to the rules the participants participates for most of the activity and follows rules throughout the entire session
Excellent

After an introduction to the rules the participants participates accordingly for the entire activity session and may even help others stay on task
Team Cooperation

Failing

The participants are a disctraction to others during, is unsafe, and/or brings teammates down during activity
Needs Improvement

The participants may cooperate with the team but cannot problem solve or resolve conflicts independently
Satisfactory

The participants may cooperate with the team but does not attempt to motivate/praise other teammates
Excellent

The participant are a constant motivator to teammates and participates in each activity no matter which team he or she is assigned to
Attention to Instruction

Failing

The participants are not focused on the teacher during class instruction, is a distraction to others, does not follow instructions, or is off-task
Needs Improvement

The participants are focused for part of the time but may become a distraction to others, may not wait to be called on before speaking, may not follow all instructions
Satisfactory

The participants are focused a majority of the time but may not follow all instructions
Excellent

The participant makes eye contact with teacher during instruction, asks questions by raising hand, and follows instructions
