Project Progress Journal Project Progress Journal This rubric will help to guide the students through the writing process of a project progress journal. This rubric assumes that a project with an outline containing a timeline, goals and objectives, and artifacts and products to be completed have been provided to the student. Project Progress
	Good 50 pts	Fair 25 pts	Poor 25 pts
Time Line	Good Research entries are present for each milestone of the project outline, and the entries demonstrate knowledge and understanding in relation to the projects goals and objectives as listed in the timeline	Fair Research entries are present for each milestone of the project outline, but the entries lack crucial input in relation to the projects timeline	Poor Research entries are not aligned with the projects timeline, and/or some entries are missing, and/or entries are insufficient and lack crucial input in relation to the projects timeline
Goals & Objectives	Good Clearly states goals and objectives, as well as how the goals and objectives will be met	Fair Clearly states goals and objectives but does not provide input on how they will be achieved	Poor Entries lack clear goals and objectives and do not provide input on what is to be done
Process and steps	Good Entries provide clear steps and/or processes for completing the goals and/or objectives in relation to the timeline	Fair Entries provide some steps and/or processes for completing the goals and/or objectives but lacks any relation to the timeline	Poor Entries do not provide clear steps and/or processes for completing the goals and/or objectives in relation to the timeline
What was done	Good Entries clearly state what was done and how each step will be accomplished	Fair Entries state only what will be done but not how, or entries state how sporadic steps were accomplished leaving gaps in the process	Poor Entries do not clearly state what will be done, and how a particular step will be completed
Spelling and Grammar	Good Spelling and grammar are both satidfactory	Fair Entries have limited spelling and grammar issues, or has issues with only one, spelling or grammar	Poor Entries have numerous spelling and grammar issues
