GLASS UNIT Students learned about two different ways of using glass in jewelry design: Torch work and fused glass - glass pendants on the torch, fused puddles and plates.

Torch work warm up Student was required to create a glass triangle on the torch out of boro glass.	Beginning Student did not complete the warm up activity.	Developing Student attempted to complete the warm up activity but not that successful.	Accomplished Student did an adequate job of completing the warm up activity.	Exemplary Student did an outstanding job of completing a good triangle.	TOTALS
Torch work - pendant Student took what they learned from the warm up and applied their skills to creating a glass pendant.	Beginning Student did not attempt to complete a glass pendant.	Developing Student attempted to complete a glass pendant but it was either not finished, or it broke. Student learned from the effort.	Accomplished Student completed a glass pendant in an adequate manner.	Exemplary Student completed a highly detailed glass pendant and finished into a fully developed jewelry piece.	TOTALS
Fused glass puddles or plate Student completed glass puddles.	Beginning Student did not attempt to complete any glass puddles and or plates	Developing Student attempted to complete glass puddles and or plates, but they were not successful or used in any way.	Accomplished Student completed glass puddles and or plates then used them in some form of artwork (jewelry or plates) in an adequate way.	Exemplary Student's puddles and or plates were exceptionally used in either jewelry, plates or some other form of artwork in a highly creative manner.	TOTALS
Frit Landscape Paintings Student created a frit landscape painting that demonstrated depth through full fusing and tack fusing.	Beginning Student did not attempt to create a frit landscape painting.	Developing Student attempted to complete a frit landscape painting but more effort could have been put into the piece.	Accomplished Student completed a frit landscape painting in an adequate manner.	Exemplary Student completed a highly detailed frit painting that demonstrated depth.	TOTALS
