Historical/Generic Personal Diary 
Student is to "write" a diary of a fictional person who could have traveled on one of the trails west.This journal or diary from this time period reflects accurately the experiences a person from this time period could/would have experienced. Use knowledge gained from the text and research materials to create the diary entries as you think that person would have experienced. You have literary license to make up appropriate and historically accurate experiences. Must be STUDENT ORIGINAL.
