Design 3 Atomic Structures(3D)	Poor Students failed to complete the atomic model.	Fair Structures are not accurate in terms of number of sub-atomic particles. Structure models have many design flaws. Choice of materials does not suit model.	Good Structures are accurate but lacks some information. Models have some design flaws. Choice of materials is appropriate for model.	Excellent Structures are accurate and students have included all required information. models are neat and well designed. Choice of materials is well suited for models. Students model design exceeds all required expectations.
Creativity	Poor Students failed to complete the atomic models.	Fair Project appears forced, hard to follow. It appears to have too many parts that are strange and do not serve any purpose.	Good Project is well done, but it is not unique. It has many similar components as other models.	Excellent Project is unique, and sets itself apart from the others. The project shows creativity that is exciting and fresh. Students creativity exceeds all required expectations.
Color	Poor Students failed to complete the atomic models.	Fair Students have no color at all in the project.	Good Students have some color in their atomic structures.	Excellent All parts of the models are correct and complete. The project has adequate color, and all parts are color-coded accordingly. Students models exceed all required expectations.
Labeling	Poor Students failed to create a reference key.	Fair Students made an attempt to create a reference key.	Good Students created a reference key but with some incorrect spellings.	Excellent All parts of the atomic structures were referenced correctly on the reference key.
Effort	Poor Students failed to complete the atomic structures	Fair Models look as if it lacks significant effort or that it was possibly thrown together in a rush. Models still needs quite a bit of work and does not appear complete. Many errors are evident in the work.	Good Models appears to be mostly complete; although, it could use some minor touch up here and there.	Excellent Models clearly shows that much effort was put forth and the project appears complete. Models exceed all required expectations.
