Research Essay Rubric 
After selecting a research question about world history, the student will write a two-page essay that responds to the question. The essay must contain a thesis statement with supporting information. The essay must use a minimum of three sources and must include a bibliography; no more than two sources may be from the Internet. The student should read the "Accelerated" column of the rubric to understand the expectations for high-quality work.
