Hand-stitching	Poor Stitches are not present.	Fair Stitches are not always in accurate spots, but still keep the sock monster together.	Good Stitches have correct stitch length and width for the area they are closing or attaching.	4 Stitches are strong, even and distributed in a manner that the student was able to apply different stitches for the circumstances.
Eyes	Poor No eyes are present on the project.	Fair Eyes have been attached properly.	Good Eyes are secured properly and suit the sock monster.	4 Eyes are placed and secured in a manner that helps develop the monsters personality. Student showed strong creativity choosing the look of the eye area.
Monster Creativity	Poor Monster lacks creativity.	Fair This monster has some elements of creativity, but could use some more thought and detail.	Good Great thought and creativity have gone into making this sock monster. It has a personality of it's own.	4 Student exceeded expectations with creativity. Monster shows excellent work and a distinct personality.
Work Ethic	Poor Student did not use class time efficiently.	Fair The student used class time somewhat efficiently,	Good The student worked diligently and turned in the project early or on time.	4 Student worked very hard in order to turn in a creative, well constructed final project.
