Student planned effective research strategies to locate information to use for this project. Student evaluated the accuracy of information and data. Student curated information and demonstrated meaningful conclusions.

Student had some errors in accuracy of information, or presented too simple of a project that did not showcase effective research strategies. Student presented too much information and did not draw meaningful conclusion and connection of material.

Creative Communicator

Students communicate clearly and express themselves creatively for a variety of purposes using the platforms, tools, styles, formats and digital media appropriate to their goals.

Good

Student chose appropriate platform for meeting objectives of their creation. Student created original works. Student communicated ideas clearly. Student presented or published material for intended audience.

Student chose appropriate platform but did not include examples of original work (utilized already-published material), or did not communicate ideas clearly.
Poor

Student did not choose technology medium from list of options, and did not seek approval for using an alternate medium. Student did not present original work, or created work for inappropriate audience (ie, work was presented as geared toward preschool level, etc.)
