Daily Behavior/Participation Grading Rubric Daily Behavior/Participation Grading Rubric A student can earn from 0-20 points per class, based on his/her behavior during class. A student's Daily Behavior Grade is contingent upon the student's actions in class activities, discussions, and the overall classroom environment. This daily grade was engineered to ensure that each student is receiving the most out of his/her time in Reading Enrichment, while also enabling parents/guardians to remain informed of their student's behavior in the classroom. Class Behavior/Participation
	1 point 1 pts	3 points 3 pts	5 points 5 pts
follows instructions	1 point has to be repeatedly redirected until follows instructions (examples, not limited to: staying in seat, using a normal speaking voice, etc.)	3 points follows instructions after one redirection	5 points follows instructions the upon receiving them
Does Not Disrupt	1 point Disrupts others 3 or more times in a class period, which disrupts the classroom environment.	3 points Disrupts others 1-2 times in a class period	5 points Does not disrupt others during the class period.
Completes Assigned Work/Tasks	1 point Rarely or never completes tasks or projects assigned.	3 points Attempts to complete assignments to the best of ability.	5 points Remains on task and completes assignments within the period.
Participation (listens & answers)	1 point Does not participate or contribute in class.	3 points Participates or contributes some of the time.	5 points Participates and contributes in class.
