Statements	Great All statements noting similarities are placed in the center circle and all statements that note differences are placed in the correct outer circle.	Fair One statement is placed in the correct circle.	Poor No statements are placed in the correct circle.
Number of quality statements	Great Student is able to make 3 or more comparisons ( same) statements in each circle and 3 contrasts ( different).	Fair Student is able to make at least 2 comparison ( same) statements in each circle and 2 contrasts ( different).	Poor Student makes less than 2 comparison and contrast statements in each circle.
