Poetry Book Rubric 
Students will create a poetry book that will include 6 original poems: 1 Cinquain, 1 Concrete, 1 Diamonte, 1 Limerick, 1 Haiku and 1 Acrostic. At least one poem will be presented orally. Your poetry book must also include an introductory "Dear Reader" letter explaining why the student picked his/her theme and a graphic organizer on the project pros and cons. Students will also include an illustration that best represents the poetry book theme for the front cover.
