Students will create a poetry book that will include 6 original poems: 1 Cinquain, 1 Concrete, 1 Diamonte, 1 Limerick, 1 Haiku and 1 Acrostic. At least one poem will be presented orally. Your poetry book must also include an introductory "Dear Reader" letter explaining why the student picked his/her theme and a graphic organizer on the project pros and cons. Students will also include an illustration that best represents the poetry book theme for the front cover.

MAGAZINE ADVERTISEMENT
Students will create a magazine advertisement using persuasive and effective advertising techniques; complete with logo and word choice. Students also will provide a reflection, stating how the business will be set up, rules that will apply to the business, who and what the business owners will be doing, the supplies that will be needed, and how much was invested in the business.

Business Card
Create a personal business card that includes your name, business, job title address, phone number, email address, and web page address. The business card must also have a tagline or description of the business with a logo and list of the service or product. The layout is to show an emphasis on your business and your name and title.
