Character Profile and Background	Does Not Meet Standards - Content is incomplete; there is minimal information on the background of the character. - Biographical information is non-existent or very unclear. - Few to no examples from the character life history, or from the movie/show/book, etc. are included.	Fair - A character profile containing biographical information is included, however lacks breadth and depth.	Good - Biological information is clearly stated and - There are some areas of the character's life that are discussed.	Excellent - All relevant biographical information is clearly stated. - Biographical information discusses a wide range of areas of the character's life including family, education, social support, financial status, and anything else that seems pertinent to that character's life history. - There are ample examples to back up the background information from the movie/show/book, etc. a picture of the character is inckuded.
Symptoms of Depression	Does Not Meet Standards - Very few or no symptoms are identified. - The student does not display an understanding of the relationship between symptoms and diagnoses.	Fair - Some symptoms are included, with few examples.	Good 4 symptoms of depression are included. The symptoms the character is experiencing are explained and backed up by some examples.	Excellent - five or more symptoms of depression the character is experiencing are stated and clearly explained with ample examples.
