Group Presentation Project 
The presentation must contain the following: • The history or background of the theory or theorist • The primary points of the theory or beliefs of the theorist • The theory or theorist’s understanding of human dysfunction • The theory or theorist’s understanding of change • Practice contexts for this theory or ideas of the theorist One presentation grade per group will be given. Students will turn in his/her own group reflection papers throughout term.

Presenters project voice well and are clearly understood. If using video, eye contact is used. Presenters introduce selves, topics, etc. Presenters are confident, well-rehearsed and organized.
Visual slides are interesting, pleasing to the eye and engage the audience. All content adds to the quality of the presentation.
Theory

Poor

Presenters cover little to none of the required topics. Topics are not discussed thoroughly. Statements are not backed up with research.
Fair

Presenters cover some of the required topics.
Minimal use of research, or research is of poor/questionable quality.
Good

Presenters cover all topics outlined in the description thoroughly. Use of high quality research backs up statements and ideas.
Evaluation Exercise

Poor

Class exercise is missing or only partially completed.
Not submitted to instructor by Week 6.
Fair

Class exercise is partially completed or not well-executed. Hard to follow or understand.
Exercise not submitted to teacher by Week 6.
Good

Class evaluation exercise is creative and useful.
Exercise engages fellow students and promotes learning.
Exercise submitted to instructor by Week 6.
Grammar/ APA formatting

Poor

Multiple errors in spelling, grammar, APA formatting.
No research cited, or cited improperly.
Fair

Minimal errors in grammar, spelling, APA formatting.
Research is cited, but with a few errors.
Good

No errors in grammar, spelling, APA formatting. Research is cited properly throughout presentation and at the end.
