A Day in the Life Choose an Aboriginal cultural group and make a model of daily life pre European contact. Use a variety of materials and techniques to portray landscape, housing, travel and food.

Content Notes for project include the information needed to complete diorama	Excellent More than the required amount. Topics discussed are clearly organized. All information is clearly citied.	Good All Requirements in content are met. Topic is mostly discussed but more information is required. Most Information is cited.	Fair Missing content. Topic is discussed but more material is needed or organization needs to be addressed further. Elaboration on some content is needed. Citations are clearly missing.	Poor Most content is missing. And/Or does not contain relevant information to the topic. Subtopics are briefly addressed but not discussed or elaborated on. Most of the information is not cited.
Diorama How does it look, how much care was taken in making it, is it accurate	Excellent Diorama is very attractive, Easy to see and read. Great care was taken on the diorama with miniature models etc.	Good The diorama is attractive. Nothing is added to detract from the presentation of the project. Everything can be read all the requirements are met.	Fair The diorama is has sloppy pieces, not all requirements are met. Pieces are added that detract from the topic. Some pieces do not have explanations.	Poor The diorama is sloppily done. Their are pieces that do not connect to the topics. Requirements are missing. Their are only a few explanations or none at all.
Grammer/Mechanics Short summary explaining you project.	Excellent Capitalization and punctuation on the explanations are correct throughout. There are no grammatical errors.	Good There are less than 2 grammatical errors on the presentation.	Fair There are less than 4 grammatical errors on the presentation.	Poor There are many grammatical errors on the presentation.
Presentation What can you tell me about your diarama	Excellent Speaker presents in a loud, clear voice and does to read directly off of script.	Good Speakers presents in a loud, clear voice but occansionaly glances at script.	Fair Speaker presents in a voice that is sometimes clear and/or refers to script constantly.	Poor Speaker is not loud or tough to hear. Simply reads from script.
