Preparation 5 pts	Excellent Students were on task for all of the planning time and went beyond expectations to prepare the project. The project was well developed with more than what was required.	Good Students were on task for all of the planning time and developed a well thought out presentation.	Fair Students were on task for most of the planning time and developed a well thought out presentation.	Poor Students were off task for the time of planning and didn't develop a well thought out presentation.
Presentation 5 pts	Excellent Student uses a clear voice and correct, precise pronunciation of terms so that all audience members can hear presentation.	Good Student's voice is clear. Student pronounces most words correctly. Most audience members can hear presentation.	Fair Student's voice is low. Student incorrectly pronounces terms. Audience members have difficulty hearing presentation.	Poor Student does not have grasp of information; student cannot answer questions about subject.
Collaboration 5 pts	Excellent All students in the group worked well together and participated equally in the planning process and performance.	Good The students in the group worked somewhat well together. One student showed more participation than the other.	Fair The students in the group did not work well together and there was little shared participation.	Poor None of the students in the group worked well together. There was no shared participation whatsoever.
Organization 5 pts	Excellent Student presents information in logical, interesting sequence which audience can follow.	Good Student presents information in a somewhat logical, interesting sequence which audience can partially follow.	Fair Audience has difficulty following presentation because student jumps around.	Poor Audience cannot understand presentation because there is no sequence of information.
Subject knowledge 5 pts	Excellent Student demonstrates full knowledge (more than required) by answering all class questions with explanations and elaboration.	Good Student is at ease with expected answers to all questions, but fails to elaborate.	Fair Student is uncomfortable with information and is able to answer only rudimentary questions.	Poor Student does not have grasp of information; student cannot answer questions about subject.

Grammar & Mechanics 5 pts	Excellent Consistent and appropriate voice. Correct word choice. No spelling, punctuation or capitalization errors.	Good Voice mostly consistent. Fairly effective word choice. No spelling, punctuation or capitalization errors. Less than 3 total errors.	Fair Voice somewhat consistent. Correct word choice.
