Terrarium Project Terrarium Project Students will be building a terrarium using the guidelines I have given them. They will also be creating a small trifold poster that explains how the water cycle and oxygen cycle are represented in their terrarium, as well as how humans could cause a disruption in these cycles. Terrarium Project
	Poor 10 pts	Fair 20 pts	Good 30 pts
Terrarium	Poor Missing 3 or more of the components listed under the good category.	Fair Missing 1 or two of the components listed under the good category.	Good Made of components listed in instructions. Contains at least 2 plants that are suited for their type of terrarium, proper layering of soil components, water levels are balanced, can contain additional organisms, that are listed and accounted for.
Poster	Poor Missing 3 or more of the components listed under the good category.	Fair Missing 1 or two of the components listed under the good category.	Good Diagrams the water cycle, a paragraph explaining the water cycle, Diagrams the oxygen cycle, a paragraph explaining and diagram of one other cycle , a paragraph explaining how humans have impacted these cycles, neat, title displayed. List organisms in your Biome and how they enhance or hinder these cyles and how these cycles are sustaining the Biome
Data Chart	Poor Missing 3 or more of the components listed under the good category.	Fair Missing 1 or two of the components listed under the good category.	Good Students have detailed journal of their observations. Observations were gathered for a span of 2-3 weeks . Data charts are organized and neat, dated when observations made Observations should include plant growth, water levels and organism reproduction or death.
