World Language Discovery - Country Research Hispanic Country Presentation Brochure The student will use technology to conduct Internet research in order to be able to gather culturally relevant facts and and visuals about a respective target country. The students synthesize their research and utilize technology to create a detailed visual presentation, including culturally relevant information and pictures about their respective target country. Country Research Project This section evaluates the quality of the visual presentation
	Exceeds Standards Excellent - The student followed all of the project guidelines 10 pts	Meets Standards Good - The student followed following most of the project guidelines 8 pts	Progressing Acceptable - The student followed some of the project guidelines 6 pts	Needs Improvement Poor - The student did not make an effort to follow the project guidelines 4 pts
Artistic Endeavor 10 pts	Exceeds Standards The project is vibrant and neat and varies between photos and written description; the color scheme is selected appropriately; the project is well organized and intricately detailed; the project is visually balanced and includes a background; the graphics and the text are appropriately sized	Meets Standards The selection of visuals, text and colors makes project visually pleasing; the color scheme is selected appropriately; the project is detailed and organized; a background is present; the graphics and the text are appropriately sized, the project is mostly visually balanced	Progressing The selected color scheme makes it difficult for the viewer to access the information and/or the background is missing and/or the project is only slightly organized; the project is not very detailed; text and visuals are not appropriately sized; the project is not visually balanced and appears cluttered	Needs Improvement The presentation lacks detail; there is no interesting color selection or the color selection makes the information illegible; the pictures and text are not appropriately sized and/or the background is missing; the project is not visually balanced and it appears cluttered
