Following Directions -title -congruent boxes (days) -theme representing the month -completely coloured-in outside the boxes	Level 1 Students failed to follow directions, did not finish or is missing significant sections.	Level 2 Students completed the assignment missing some aspects or some sections.	Level 3 Students completed the assignment following all directions correctly.	Level 4 Students completed the assignment following all the directions exactly and turned in the work in the correct format. Students have chosen the most challenging options &/or elaborated on it.
Creativity Theme matches the month	Level 1 Artwork shows little evidence of original thought, or expansion on the original concept.	Level 2 Artwork shows some evidence of originality and an attempt to expand on the original concept.	Level 3 Artwork reflects originality and expands on the original concept.	Level 4 Artwork reflects a high level of originality and expands on the original concept.
Craftsmanship -conventions (spelling, etc.) -no pencil marking visable; use of pencil crayons or thin markers	Level 1 Artwork is messy and shows smudge marks, rips, tears, or folds.	Level 2 Artwork is somewhat messy and shows either smudge marks, rips, tears, or folds.	Level 3 Artwork is neatly kept.
