Verbs in present tense
Goal
Show your ability to use the present tense using ER, IR, RE and Irregular verbs in both positive and negative form (ne verb pas).
Poor
Incorrect forms. Did not use the present tense correctly. Multiple errors. Very poorly written.
eg: Ils dit. (incorrect should be ils disent)
Fair
There are many errors (approx. 5-6) The usage clearly shows that you are unsure of how the present tense is used.
Good
There are several errors (approx. 3 or 4)in forms and usage. It is clear that you know what you are doing but you need more practice.
Superior
There are few errors in form or usage.
Formidable
Excellent use of the present tense. There are very few or no errors.

Goal
Show that you can create a unique story in French using everything learned this year. The story has depth, is descriptive, has good continuity, and is well organized. (flows and makes sense)

Confusing and hard to follow.
Or too simplistic and lacks depth.
Fair
Has some depth and basic description but is still quite simple.
Or is mostly organized but occasionally confusing.
Good
Story has a good flow, and has good depth and description. A little simplistic and or not creative.
Superior
Very good and engaging story with depth and flow.
Formidable
Excellent story with fantastic depth and creativity. Easy to understand and engaging.
Visuals
Goal
You include 4 pictures (visuals) that must represent the story being described: they must be neatly drawn and coloured, or use print outs or cut outs from magazines etc. Hand writing should be neat and good copy in ink.

There are fewer than 4 visuals or none.
