Technical skills	Two Left Feet! little attention paid to how movements are done or other details of choreography.	Shakin' a leg! Only some understanding of technical elements (ie. footwork, quality of movements, body positions) demonstrated in performance.	Breakin' it down! Dance performed with attention to most details of technique, but hasn't attained proficiency in dance style yet.	Get down with yo bad self! Dance performed with great attention to quality of movement, body position, placement and other details of exercise. Also demonstrates an excellent understanding of dance style.
Focus/Effort	Two Left Feet! The dancer is not very focused, concentrated or committed to exercise.	Shakin' a leg! The dancer is generally focused, but only some attempt made to perform with energy and strength.	Breakin' it down! The dancer performs with a good amount of energy and effort.	Get down with yo bad self! The dancer performs exercise with a great deal of energy and effort.
Rhythm/Tempo	Two Left Feet! Attempts to keep a rhythm, but gets off beat and speeds up or falls behind often. Doesn't follow beat in music.	Shakin' a leg! Shows a basic understanding of tempo and beat, but falls behind and/or speeds up in places or makes errors in rhythm.	Breakin' it down! Generally accurate in beat, tempo, rhythms of exercise sequence most of the time.	Get down with yo bad self! Shows a complete understanding of tempo and beat and stays on rhythm throughout the exercise.
