The student can print his/her first name legibly with the capital letter as the beginning letter followed by lower case letters.

The student is not able to write his first name legibly with more than one error.

The student is using strokes as letters.
Drawing an animal or person

Outstanding

The student can draw a picture of an animal or person with detail including main body, hair, eyes, nose, mouth, arms and legs.

The student can draw a picture of an animal or person with some details and it is recognizable as that of a person.
Fair

The student is missing main details to identify the picture as that of an animal or person.
Poor

The student has no marks that identify this picture as an animal or person.
Neatness

Writing, picture and coloring

Outstanding

The student colored within the lines and the completed picture demonstrated that the student took his/her time to complete.
Great

The student mostly colored within the lines and the completed picture demonstrated that the student mostly took his/her time to complete.
Fair

The student made an attempt to color within the lines and the completed picture demonstrated that the student took some of his/her time to complete the assignment.
Poor

The student made no attempt to color within the lines and the completed picture demonstrated that the student was in a rush to complete his/her assignment.
