Soap Carving
	Good 20 pts	Fair 10 pts	Poor 5 pts
Animal	Good Soap carving represents drawing of animal used. Animal is not blocky, but rounded off.	Fair Soap carving represents some of the drawing used. Animal is slightly blocky.	Poor Soap carving does not represent drawing. Animal is blocky.
Details	Good Student carved details into soap such as fur, scales, eyes and so on.	Fair Student drew more than carved out details in soap.	Poor Student drew or did not include any details in the soap.
Craftsmanship	Good Student used excellent soap carving skills such as subtracting small amounts of the soap.	Fair Student show some good soap carving skills. Too much soap may have been taken away from from animal.	Poor Students took too much off of soap.
Effort/Group work	Good Student used thier entire class time to work.	Fair Student worked occasionally on artwork.	Poor Student barely worked on art.
Totem pole	Good The totem pole fits together and has a story with it	Fair The totem pole does not really go together and the story is not strong.	Poor Missing parts of the totem pole, and has no story.
