Spelling Enter criteria description	Poor Misspelled 6 or more words.	Fair Misspelled 3-5 words	Good Misspelled no more than 2 words.
Grammar Enter criteria description	Poor Made 6 or more grammar mistakes.	Fair Made 3-5 grammar mistakes.	Good Made no more than 2 grammar mistakes.
Length of Letter Letter needs to be 1 full page long and double spaced.	Poor Letter is less than half a page long.	Fair Letter is half a page long.	Good Letter is one full page long.
Letter includes questions Students need to ask 2 or more questions related to the biography of the child.	Poor Letter doesn't ask any questions related to the biography of the child.	Fair Letter asks only 1 question related to the biography of the child.	Good Letter asks 2 or more questions related the the biography of the child.
Relate to Today Students will need to write 3 or more facts comparing themselves to the Holocaust child.	Poor Students writes only 1 or no facts comparing themselves to the Holocaust child.
