Good The student has a clear understanding of the difference between the three main types of rocks	Fair The student knows the difference between two of the rocks but not all of them	Poor The student does not have a clear understanding of any difference between the rocks
Experiment Completion	Excellent the student always stays on the task during the whole experiment and completes the activities before the time.	Good The student stays on task during the whole experiment and completes all activities that go along with it	Fair The student stays on task most of the time and did the majority of the activities coinciding with the experiment	Poor The student does not stay on task much at all and fails to complete the activities of the experiment.
