2 or 3 - D size batteries
1 - square of cardboard
(4x6 in approximately)

4 - brass fasteners
2 - paper clips

Directions
Unsatisfactory Work
1) Students are to cut an approximately 4-6 inch cardboard square from a light cardboard box (ie:cereal box)
2) Students are to use a ruler/pencil to create a 1 cm square grid on cardboard

3) Student is to use a tack, small screw, pencil tip or nail to punch holes at the line intersections.
4) Student is to place batteries inside tube; wrapping masking tape around tube to secure batteries (battery holder)

5) Student is to secure battery holder to one end of board with hot glue.
6) Student is to create two switches from brass fasteners and paper clips on their circuit board.

7) Student is to wire 2 of the bulbs provided to the circuit board.
8) Students are to wire circuit board so that one switch lights only one light, while the other switch lights both lights. (Parallel and Series circuits)
