Fair Student's drawing reflects resemblance to the outside shape of the observed object.	Good Student's drawing reflects careful observation of the object studied.	Excellent Student's drawing reflects careful observation of the object studied and small details are obvious in the lines drawn.
Shading 4 points possible	Novice Shading is barely attempted.	Fair Shading is minimal. More could be done.	Good Shading is done gradually and in the appropriate places.	Excellent Shading is done gradually with soft pencil strokes, smooth transitions and in the appropriate places.
