Culture	Distinguished Culture Square includes 4 different, appropriate elements of student's culture.	Proficient Culture Square includes 3 different elements of student's culture.	Apprentice Culture Square includes 2 or less different elements of student's culture.	Novice Culture Square did not reflect student's culture.
Label/Picture/Explanation	Distinguished Each cultural element is clearly labeled, has a drawing or digital photo, and a detailed sentence that explains the photo or drawing.	Proficient Each cultural element is labeled, has a drawing or digital photo, but lacks a detailed sentence that explains the photo or drawing. Proficient Student was easy to understand, but lacked important details of the 4 elements of their culture.	Apprentice Student did a limitted presentation of their Culture Square.	Novice Student did not present or share Culture Square.
