Demonstration of knowledge	Poor Students do not show any depth of knowledge on soils and how they work.	Fair Students show some knowledge of soils but could use more content on the topic.	Good Student displays most or all their knowledge on soils and how they work.
Use of tools and time	Poor Students do not use tools properly or waste time when working.	Fair Students use some tools properly and only waste some amount of time.	Good Students use tools and time effectively throughout the experiment.
Group Cooperation	Poor Students do not work well together and does not get work done together.	Fair Students work together but does things individually in the group.	Good Students work well together and cooperate as a team.
