Foldable Book Report Foldable Book Report Students will create a foldable book report iin the form of a book jacket. This report will describe the plot without giving away the ending and a critique of the book along with a short biographical sketch of the author. The spine of the book will duplicate those of books in media centers including call letters and AR book level. The front cover will be illustrated with book title and author. Cover	Poor Title is not capitalized nor underlined. The author was not written. There is no illustration.	Fair Title was capitalized but not underlined. Title was underlined but not capitalized. Author written but not capitalized. There is no illustration or illustration does not convey message of book.	Good Title was capitalized and underlined. Author was written and spelled correctly. Illustration is alligned with book's message.
Spine	Poor Title was included.	Fair Title and author were included.	Good Title, author and call letters were included.
Back Flap (Author)	Poor Nothing done about author.	Fair Author's name mentioned with little information.	Good Detailed information given on author.
Front Flap (Summary)	Poor Only one to two important parts in the story described. Numerous misspelled words, incorrect grammar and punctuation problems.	Fair Two or three important parts in the story described. Some misspelled words, very little incorrect grammar and punctuation.	Good Student named the majority of the important parts in the story. Little to no incorrect spelling, grammar or punctuation.
Critique	Poor Many misspelled words. No complete sentences. Grammar and punctuation problems.	Fair Very little misspelled words, student gave one to two examples as to why they like or dislike the book.	Good Student used complete sentences, gave numerous examples to support their like or dislike of the book.
