Research	Level 1 Little research was done to support project. It is incomplete, or poorly created. Little/no evidence of planning.	Level 2 Some research is evident. Parts may be incomplete; not enough detail is given; topic is not presented thoroughly. Some evidence of planning is evident.	Level 3 Good research practices are evident; details about the topic are present. Good planning is evident.	Level 4 Excellent research, with great details. Excellent planning, creativity, and execution of project. Above and beyond expectations.
Creativity	Level 1 Little originality or creativity displayed. Project is sloppily prepared; Little care taken to present best work possible.	Level 2 Some original elements, some innovative/unique ideas. Some neatness/care evident, but not consistent throughout project.	Level 3 Creative, innovative, original ideas/presentation. Evidence of proper planning and pacing evident from the quality of work presented.	Level 4 Exceptional creativity or uniqueness. Excellent in appearance/presentation; obvious care and time taken to present best work possible.
Spelling/Grammar	Level 1 Written content contains numerous spelling/grammatical errors. Not of expected grade level expectations.	Level 2 Many mistakes in spelling in grammar; may hinder understanding of written product, or impede the flow. Slightly below grade level expectations.	Level 3 Few spelling/grammar mistakes.
