	Poor 0 pts	Fair 1 pts	Good 2 pts	Excellent 3 pts
Quotes 40 % 3-5 quotes used to make emotional connections to the book.	Poor Student is not prepared.	Fair Student used less than required quotes or no emotional connection made about the quotes.	Good Student met the quotes but lacked description of emotion to those quotes from personal point of view.	Excellent Student met quotes, emotional connections, and gave examples to his/her emotions.
Organization 30 % Relationship of the quotes to the overview of the book.	Poor Student is not prepared.	Fair Audience cannot understand presentation because there is no connection of information given during the overview to the relation to the quotes.	Good Student presents information somewhat logical in the overview making connections to the quotes.	Excellent Student makes logical connections during the overview to the quotes given.
Elocution 30 % Voice, tempo, clarity, tone, and pronunciation.	Poor Student is not prepared.	Fair Student mumbles, low tone, unclear, pace is fast/slow and mispronounces words.	Good Student voice and tone is clear but pace is fast/slow with some errors in pronunciation.	Excellent Student is clear, even tempo/tone, and correctly pronounces words. Student is precise with language.
