The theme is expressed well and/or effort is evident and the theme was correlated to the New Testament in multiple ways.
Fair

The theme is expressed on an acceptable level and/or the amount of effort observed is acceptable and the theme was correlated to the New Testament in a limited way.
Poor

The theme is expressed minimally and/or minimal effort is observed and the theme was in no way correlated to the New Testament.
Unacceptable

The theme is expressed poorly with minimally observed effort; No theme was picked from the list provided in the syllabus or a theme picked outside the list without permission from the professor.

The project demonstrates a superb level of originality and creativity, and is of very high quality.

The project demonstrates minimal originality and creativity, and/or is of minimal quality.
Unacceptable

The project does not originate with the student and/or lacks quality.
Discussing theme in NT and apply
30 %

The student writes about key New Testament verses and/or principles that address the theme and applies the theme/principles to contemporary life according to instructions.

Exceeds

The New Testament verses and/or principles are key to the theme chosen, and directly and superbly addresses the theme/principles to contemporary life according to instructions.
Good

The New Testament verses and/or principles are related to the theme chosen and directly addresses the theme/principles to contemporary life according to instructions.
Fair

The New Testament verses and/or principles somewhat relate to the theme chosen, and addresses the theme/principles to contemporary life according to instructions.
Poor

The New Testament verses and/or principles are barely or not related to the theme chosen and/or minimally addresses the theme/principles to contemporary life and/or instructions are followed poorly.
Unacceptable

No New Testament verses and/or principles are discussed and no application is made to contemporary life.
