This rubric is designed to help Mrs. Moss and Miss Bender give a group grade as well as an individual grade. You will complete this rubric on your own and honestly. Mrs. Moss and Miss Bender will be the only ones to read it when you are completed. In order to receive full points you must complete all parts of this sheet; this includes writing your name, your partners name, and comments to back up your answers.

Your task is to develop a food product from the available ingredients. Your product should be nutritious, easy to eat, have few crumbs, require minimal time for preparation, be easy to prepare, and have satisfactory sensory characteristics.

Students will create a pamphlet on the topic grief or "teenage suicide."

This rubric will measure the abilities of students to thread a sewing machine and bobbin, use the sewing machine properly and complete a sewing project.

Refer to the International cuisine Research Project handout . A PowerPoint/Prezi is required for this research project. Points to include are Geography and climate, land use and economy, Import and export industry, Eating habits of the people, a conclusion that says one thing that was learned about the chosen country, and a bibliography. Your names are to be placed on the cover page of the presentation. Graphics and pictures should be used as well. Recipes must be approved by teacher.

This rubric is an assessment for your group powerpoint on each of the countries we are studying. Standard - Examine international foods and preparation.

Students are to design a chair based on a specific purpose. The Chari must be created with function and aesthetics in mind.

Students will be asked to identify all the elements and principles and demonstrate examples. In this assessment students will work on demonstrating the Elements and Principles by creating a portfolio with room design samples.

The student will select a t-shirt of choice. They will demonstrate cutting a rectangle or square from the shirt using a pattern for the pillow. They will apply interfacing to the pillow, use a sewing machine to stitch the pillow together, stuff the pillow and hand sew it closed.

Summation and Presentation of completed Life Skills Portfolio This rubric is used to assess the final portfolio when it is turned in and presented. This final assessment is out of 100 points; 25 for total portfolio; 25 for instructor only (turn-in and peer review); and 50 for presentation.
