Import the supplied Atlas Collider video trailer in to Mixcraft 8. All scenes must have a primary sound and three secondary sounds. Music must be heard continuously.

Having students take a scene or trailer from a movie or tv show, then changing the overall mood by using a different piece of music to enhance the scene.

This rubric will evaluate the participation of a student based on preparedness, behavior, attitude, and accountability for actions.

Music Weekly Participation Rubric

Compose a 12-16 measure song using one melody idea. Select a genre of music from Finale to play your piece.

Students create a map of the performance area that the ensemble will occupy notating the position of the instruments and their instruments.

Teacher will evaluate student's discussion input on an online forum.

Student Rubric for Evaluating Choir Performance

Student's had a an independent project based on one of the following themes: 1930s, 1940s, The History of Jazz, Lost Love, Tell a Story from a found object, Food, My Family History (can only use a maximum of 3 photographs), One line from the lyrics of a song no more than one line,The South,Inspiration from a favorite book,Travel. Students had to create a composition that was able to express their connection to one of the above themes. Students will be graded on over all composition, connection with message to the artist, class spent in and out of the classroom, progress in their skill/design level, their critique and blog journal.

This rubric describes the criteria to be graded for class piano performance.

Students make a podcast after researching a career in music, specifically in the music production field if possible.

As a group, students will create their own Jazz performance, showcasing the defining characteristics of the Jazz genre.
