Focus Standards: Write narratives to develop real or imagined experiences or events using effective technique, descriptive details, and clear event sequences. Objective: Tell stories from personal experiences and write narratives telling those stories. Revise and edit narratives with the help of peers and adults

The group must present their research on their culture selected, as a team, to the class. Each member of the presentation team must choose Prezi, Five Page Slide Video, poster board, or a Podcast to present the assigned culture. In addition to an individual grade for the research and the presentation, each student on the presentation team will earn a team collaboration grade. The team collaboration grade will be based on how effectively you perform your role as a member of the team.

The student/pair of students will investigate an ecosystem. The project will include the climate, location(map), animals and plants (including endangered), and a minimum of one food web in the ecosystem, any human populations, and any environmental concerns and/or efforts toward conservation of species or habitats. The Products will include one Powerpoint project and a minimum of one visual presentation (brochure, pamphlet, newsletter, activity, movie/PSA/skit with script, etc.).

Students will create a comic strip based on their comic character that they created and use at least one onomatopoeia per box.

Students will write a story of a “R” hero(reduce, recycle, recover, reuse) and how the hero helps the Earth.

Write a narrative story describing a raindrop traveling through the water cycle. Describe the forms the raindrop takes as it move through the water cycle.
