Critical analysis Film

The purpose of this rubric is to allow the student to know what the expectations are for writing this comparing/contrasting paragraph. This rubric will help me, the teacher, to assess student writing and inform further instruction.The student will compare and contrast, a book, we have read in class to the movie.

Students will create a poster, power point, or video in which they demonstrate how to cook their favorite food. They will incorporate 10 or more informal commands.

Students will know homework expectations which would include completeness, accuracy, requirements, legibility and time management.

Student will give a 1 minute minimum persuasive speech.

Create a POSTER about your Goya nomination. Produce a short nomination speech of 1 - 2 minutes to persuade your class to vote for your movie. Poster should be easy to read from 30 feet away. Be creative. Do NOT copy the original movie poster...this will result in a grade of zero. Also avoid sloppy picture and lettering. Your poster will not have white space. Class time today and Tuesday, presentations will be next Thursday.
