Writing Fiction (Narrative)
While studying the elements of fiction, students write a fiction story that demonstrates their understanding of the stages of plot, characteristics of a story. and the writing process. 4.W.3 Write narrative to develop imagined experiences or events using effective technique, descriptive details, and clear sequence of events.

Write (6) sentences using a least one word containing a prefix. Include the correct ending punctuation for each sentence, and begin the sentence with a capital letter.

Simple Machine Leprechaun Trap
Students will create a Leprechaun Trap which incorporates at least 1 simple machines as part of the working trap. Students are also to include bait and a way to "trap" the leprechaun, such as a cage or a snare. Students will also turn in the question pages. Each student must present the trap to the class.
