You are to create a board game based on Clue. You must include a game board, nine rooms, six weapons, six suspects and 21 cards with the rooms, suspects and weapons listed on each one individually. You also most include drawings to depict each part of the game. All must be in Spanish. Please be creative, and neat. Use color drawings, pictures and/or clippings.

You will create an ofrenda based on a person who has passed away. This person can be a friend, pet, family member or celebrity. Your ofrenda can be made with a shoe box or a poster board. You must include a typed or neatly handwritten paper labeling and explaining each part of what is included on/in the ofrenda. Please ensure to label each part in English and in Spanish.

Students will perform a part of a traditional Hispanic dance. They will begin the presentation with a brief introduction about the dance. The students should explain the title of the dance, what country it is from, why it is performed and what the dancers wear in the dance. After the introduction the dance students will perform this dance with knowledge of the steps and performance quality. They will then teach the basic steps to the students in class.

1. Find a Hispanic recipe that looks good or interesting. (Get approval once you have selected your recipe) 2. Make the recipe. 3. Write down in Spanish and English the ingredients of the recipe. 4. Bring your creation to class. 5. Present/explain the food with a description and how to make the food. State what country it is from, when it is most commonly enjoyed and then share the dish with the class. Please cook enough for 40 people, bring plates, silverware and proper serving utensils.

Your job is to create a lesson that you will be presenting to the class. Along with the lesson, your group will be in charge of creating guided notes, classwork/game (at least 5 questions), and an assessment (at least 5-10 questions). You will also be in charge of going over the classwork to ensure everyone understands your topic, and grading any work you assign for example the quiz. You may use PowerPoint (5-10 slides), or a word document to present the lesson to the class.

You will write a one page typed or two page hand written review of an approved hispanic book or movie. You paper must discuss the setting, characters, plot, theme, and any other imporant background information. In addition you must discuss the relevancy of the story and critique the book.

You will be writing a children's book in spanish using the vocabulary you have learned so far. The book must be 10 pages long and have 1-2 sentences per page. Each page must be illustrated in color, meaning there needs to be a printed or drawn pictures that match what you have written on each page. The book aslo must have a cover with a illustration, title and author.

Student is to "write" a one page diary entry in Spanish of a fictional person who could have traveled the Camino de Santiago.This journal or diary can be from 1000 years ago up to today. Use knowledge gained from the research materials and movie to create the diary entries as you think that person would have experienced. You have literary license to make up appropriate and historically accurate experiences. Must be STUDENT ORIGINAL.

Students are to create a timeline (can be horizontal, vertical, diagonal, etc) concerning important events in Mexico from 1900 to 1960. There should be no less than 20 items on the timeline. Students are to include pictures that they believe represent the events on their timeline (you can either cut & paste or draw pictures).
