Skills Test Rubric

Each students will research a disease, illness, or condition of their choosing and relay what was learned to the class. Information on the disease should include the physiology and etiology of the condition, as well as discussion of diagnostics, nursing assessments (subjective & objective), medical management, nursing diagnosis and planning and nursing interventions & special consideration. Rationales for nursing interventions should be explained and discussed. Presentations can be in any format that the student desires. A written summary of the presentation and research is to be handed in, and bibliography/references are to be included for assessment.

This is a rubric to evaluate leadership competencies in students and is based on my college's mission, vision and core values

Criteria for position papers.

Instructions : Watch two of the pre-selected movies and write a paper discussing the media image of how the nursing role was portrayed in both movies. Compare and contrast the image of the nurse in each of the pre-selected movies viewed and give your own constructive personal view of the portrayed nursing role in each movie. Include a minimum of 3 peer-reviewed articles that support your view of the images portrayed in each movie. Give specific examples from the two movies to support the discussion. Paper Length: 1000-2000 words ? All references cited in the paper ? Minimum of 3 references ? APA 6th Ed. format and guidelines are followed ? Writing style at undergraduate level ?
